RAV4 Limited 3.5L V6

So here I am again and this is the end of this Rav4 as it has just started having major tranny issues that would require a tranny replacement or rebuild. It's in the middle of the covid pandemic and there are no parts to be had to fix it. It is an issue that just started and it only slips when attempting to pass someone, so I have time to dump it! From what I hear the new Tacomas have this very same engine and are having tranny issues as well. I don't doubt the 3.5V6 as a rock solid beast of an engine - I love it - but Toyota is under designing their trucks around this engine. This powerful V6 is turning my drivetrain and tranny into Swiss cheese.

This was my first Toyota and it is also going to be my last. Toyota is running name and reputation now to justify their ridiculous sticker prices but when it comes down to it they have become just like every other brand out there or the others are just catching up to them in terms of quality and proper design. So I have traded it off for the new Ranger. It would take a lot for me to go back to Toyota.
