RAV4 3.5L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 49,000 miles

I found out a week ago water pump is leaking- 49,000 miles. Took it to Beaver Toyota in Santa Fe yesterday. They supposedly fixed it (for free-- under warranty). Drove it home, about 40 miles. This morning, the fluid level was below the low mark. Did they fix it or not!!!? Tomorrow, I need to drive 100 miles to Albuquerque to catch a plane. What do I do?

Is this a chronic problem? I've lost count on the number of recalls. My last Toyota...

Can't believe the water pump would fail at such low mileage. Really, really aggravated it is just after the warranty!! I commented that I thought their product should be better and he said, yeah Toyota having trouble with water pumps. If that's the case they should still replace mine for free.
