The contact owns a 2010 Toyota Rav4. The contact stated that the front and rear passenger side wheel rims were cracked, which caused air to leak from the tires. The contact called taylor Toyota of hermitage at 724-347-7702 (located at 2757 E state St, hermitage, pa 16148) and was informed that the rims needed to be repaired. The manufacturer was notified and denied any such failure. The failure was not remedied. The failure mileage was approximately 24,000.

The contact owns a 2010 Toyota Rav4. While driving at approximately 25 mph, the tire pressure warning light illuminated. The contact noticed that the front passenger side tire was flat. The contact also stated that the rims would separate from the tire and detach. The failure recurred multiple times. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the failure could not be duplicated; however, the rim was replaced but the failure recurred multiple times. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 30,000. The VIN was unavailable.

The contact owns a 2010 Toyota Rav4. The contact stated that after rotating the tires, she noticed that all four of rims were cracked. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure and the vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 50,000. Updated 07/02/12 the consumer stated she had a tire that wouldn't air. When she purchased a used tire, she discovered that tire wouldn't hold air either. The tire store informed the consumer there was a crack in the rim. When the technician looked at all the rims, he discovered three out of four rims were cracked. Updated 07/05/12.
