This material should be changed or Toyota should provide protection for it. The Center Console plastic should not be easily scratched.

The first time I got into my 2013 RAV4 to test drive it - I mentioned to the Salesman that there were scratches on the center console by the shifter. He reached down and scratched it with his fingernail and it left another scratch. I was told they would fix or replace this. They ordered a new one but I wanted to see it before they put it in my car. The first thing we did was lightly scratched it with our fingernail and it left marks. This was brought to the attention of the dealership owner and I was told to contact Toyota Care. I have logged a complaint but not receiving any answers. This is a terrible design choice and needs to be changed.

Noticed the silver paint on the car's interior was scratched. If you just touch the paint, it can scratch... if you just look at the silver trim it can scratch. This Toyota is one of the worst built cars I have ever driven. Terrible interior quality. Cheap. Cheap. Cheap. Shame on Toyota for trying to pass this Rav4 as a Toyota.
