The hood of 2013 REV 4 is very poor design. The hood vibrates all the time but you will really notice it if you are parked at top of a hill or stop at a traffic light at incline. It seems as if the hood is very light weight. It's just annoying to see it after 1 1/2 years along with my stinky air conditioner.

2013 hoods thin metal and zero support and waves like a flag
this model was put out short sighted and as a way to prevent a model gap before the redesigned redesigned RAV 4 for 2014 came out. the fit and finish are horrific. the hood has no support like the 2014's and 2012's and vibrates and waves even at idle. the windshield cowel plastic pieces come loose and dont align. with the weather change the 5th door hatch is so thin that it at 11000 miles and not even a yrs driving squeeks on the foam seals and sounds like water sloshing in the door and echos through out the cabin. at excelartion the transmission and linkage thunk when you accelerate. All of this according to the dealer hasn't been brought up to to R&D or they would put out an alert i am told. I call B>S>. Was just emailed the other day from the Camry I sold 7 years ago and has 250k+ and still go being passed down to another college student. So needless to say this 25k purchase between model yrs and model change is the most disappointing purchase of my life. tried posting on facebook but it was removed in less than 10 seconds after posting. Hood vibrates at highway speeds. Thought the hood latch came loose and almost pulled off the highway to check it but waited for an exit. Nothing was loose. Can only assume Toyota is using thin metal of lessor gauge. Damn unnerving. Very disappointed in this Toyota model and year.
Update from Apr 13, 2015: I plan on discussing this matter with the dealer. I have an extended warranty. We'll see what they say.
