RAV4 ELS V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 70,000 miles

The day after my first hurricane, since moving to Florida, my mom and I drove to the beach and ran errands. We drive around town for hours, then around 3pm we pull into a parking lot and I go to park and the steering completely goes out! It is like driving a MAC truck, sooo hard. I get it parked, and wait 4 hours for a tow truck. The next day I find out the mechanic needs to REPLACE the power steering!

I was without a car for 2 weeks while my mechanic and the local Toyota dealership got it working AGAIN! This is the 2nd major thing replaced and I have only owned this 8 year old car for 3 years! Crazy thing is the 2019-2020 RAV4's have a a recall for the POWER STEERING! It states WATER is causing this to happen... hmmmm!
