RAV4 XLE 2.4L V4

  • Automatic transmission
  • 6,300 miles

During rain the rain water flows like a sheet even though the wiper blade was turned on. Morning frost forms a wave shape on the windshield. It completely brings the visibility down by 90% and I have to completely slow down the vehicle even when it rains light.

Update from Mar 20, 2018: Rain x helps to some extent. Still the windshield is not well polished.

film between glass causing prism effect in glass

The film between the windshield glass appeared to have an appearance of tiny bubbles causing a prism effect of colors when the sun hits it just right usually at sun rise or sun set. At times the windshield had a white haze across the entire windshield making it visibly impossible to drive. The windshield was replaced 04/26/17. We are having the same problem with the replacement windshield. The dealership is whipping their hands of the matter and stating there is nothing more they are willing to do. Is anyone else having this issue?
