I couldn't get in to see the service tech for a few days, so I had the dealer disconnect the seat wire harness.
When they where able to take a look at it, they tested on/off functions and heat cycles and could not determine a fault.
This issue is still undetermined. I will be observing this closely to see if it repeats
Update from May 11, 2022: This passenger seat has randomly heated ( without the switch being on) one other time that I know of.
It happened while I was on my way to work and I couldn't take it in to the mechanic at the time.
Still remains a mystery.
