Sequoia Limited 7.5L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 100 miles

Buzzing sounds like a muffler baffle or plastic shield rattling. Happens only when first started, engine is cold, 1500 RPM, with transmission in reverse or drive. Noise increases when the steering wheel is turned. The general location of the buzzing is the passenger side just rearward of the front wheel. Waiting for the dealer to diagnose it.

Update from Feb 28, 2019: For Dan who had the same noise. Look at the heat shield above the converters. They are thin and rattle. I put some bends in the edges to stiffen them up. Noise is gone. Dealer was worthless said they 1. do not hear ir 2. it is normal. 3 cannot fix it. Same old lies we all hear.
