problem #1

Dec 012009

Sienna LX

  • Automatic transmission
  • 63,000 miles

WITHOUT CHECK ENGINE WORKS PROPERLY WE CAN NOT MAKE ANNUAL EMISSION TEST PASSED ON THIS VEHICLE. WHEN I CONTACTED DEALER AFTER TWO VISITS AND KEPT MY CAR FOR 1 OR 2 DAYS EVERYTIME, THEY TOLD ME THAT THE CLUSTER NEEDS TO BE REPLACED AND IT COSTS ABOUT 1150.00 DOLLARS. I CALLED MANUFACTURER AND THEY SAID IT WILL NOT BE COVERED. IT IS NOT INTERFERING WITH ROUTINE DRIVING; HOWEVER IT IS EXPENSIVE TO REPLACE IT. WE MUST FIX THE PROBLEM IN ORDER TO CLEAR THE ANNUAL EMISSION TEST. I THINK TOYOTA RELEASED 2004 SIANNA WITHOUT TAKING CARE OF MUCH OF THESE PROBLEMS AND NOT ABLE TO COVER THE EXPENSES FOR SIMPLE THINGS LIKE THIS.

ANY ONE CAN PROVIDE ANY SOLUTION FOR THIS.I APPRECIATE YOUR SUPPORT.-Thanks, Pandu (pandug@hotmail.com)
