During sales cycle Toyota calls it an extended warranty, but when you try and use it they call it an insurance policy. Not sure what the difference.
The dealer willing to repair (cost $4,000.00) the problem but they said the extended warranty did not cover special clamps for the hoses nor did it cover new freon to charge the system.
PS During the trouble years for GM, Toyota hired a bunch of their managers and it is showing on the poor quality and service of this vehicle.
