The rear step bumper welds broke loose while a boat was in tow. The bumper welds and hardware are rusted through. The bumper has a max tongue weight of 520 lbs. And max tow weight of 5200 lbs. The truck has not been wrecked from the rear. The property in tow was a 1988 stratos bass boat weighing less than 2000 lbs.
