Leaf springs were replaced that broke at 67,000 miles on our new 2009 truck of 2013. I called Toyota when this happened and they were not warrantied. They were replaced at a cost of $1201. I then went online and saw that there were lots of complaints on broken leaf spring on our truck and even people so mad that they were calling for a class action suit against Toyota.

Toyota eventually sent us a recall notice in 2014. Its now May 4, 2015 and they still do not have a remedy and mostly will not give me my money back. They admit they do not have a remedy but will not give my money back till they do. Here is the thing that ticks me off. Either way they had to be fixed or we could not use our truck. And if we fixed them with defective Toyota parts and have to be replaced again I would be out even more money. Toyota should pay me the money I put out for this because they will eventually have to.

I feel like they are waiting for some of us to die off so they do not have to pay.

SHAME on TOYOTA.
