problem #2

Jan 152018

Tacoma TRD Off-Road 4.0L V6

  • Manual transmission
  • 51,000 miles

It appears that poor design or materials in the switch cover caused this wear out and break over time. The switch cover plastic appears to be cheap and each time the driver door was shut, it must have weakened causing to break eventually. Now it pops out of place almost every time the door is shut.

Tacoma TRD 4.0L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 32,000 miles

Drivers side front, master power window switch cover/bezel is cheaply made of abs plastic, especially where the switch panel screws to cover. Breaks real easy just by closing the drivers door. $60.00 to replace, 2014 Toyota Tacoma TRD sport crew cab.
