The contact owns a 2004 Toyota Tundra. The contact stated that while driving 55 MPH, an abnormal ripping sound was coming from the sunroof. The contact pulled back the sunroof cover and discovered that the sunroof had detached from the vehicle. The contact pulled over to assess the damage and then drove to the residence. The dealer was notified of the failure but offered no assistance. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 222,000. The VIN was not available.
