I was a FORD guy before. Then decided to switch over to Toyota because they had built a GOOD REPUTATION or so I taught. We bought our 1st 2004 Toyota Tacoma in the fall of 2004.

We have no problems to speak of with the Tacoma. So decided to buy a full size truck and setter for the 2006 Toyota tundra. Just about when the warranty was to expire we had problems with the 4x4. I could not take to the dealer right of way because I was in the east cost for 7 months and my wife was afraid to take in for fear of bean taken and rip off by the leader.

Then the rough ride at 35-40 develop. It feel like it wants to shift or change gears but it can't or it wont.

Now the steering column problem. There is like a casing around it the holds the shift lever in place and is made of like an alloy aluminum metal. it crack all around it. What a cheap metal to use for all the stress it will go though every day.

I am so disappointing and hurt with Toyota. I thought I had found a brand I can live with.

At this point we are getting ready to buy a new car, a small car or sub 4x4 since we live 3 to 4 months out of the year in the snow and we have been looking at the Rav4.

Toyota, I thing we had enough disappointments with you. Good by.
