Tundra

  • 97,000 miles
The contact owns a 2006 Toyota Tundra. The contact stated that the vehicle would not accelerate after being stopped at a light. The vehicle was driven to an authorized dealer in limp mode where the contact was informed that the failure was the result of water intruding into the engine air intake system. The dealer also stated that the intake manifold would need to be removed, the upper half of the engine would have to be dismantled, and the valves would need to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 97,000. The VIN was unavailable.

Tundra

  • 30,000 miles
I bought a 2006 Toyota Tundra SR5 back in 2007. I have had my vehicle serviced every since I have bought it. My truck has always smelled like rotten eggs and I have had the injectors cleaned 4 times since I've owned it. The problem still exist. I have contacted Toyota about this and they say there has been no recall...please look into this problem and also the tire pressure warning system light keeps malfunctioning.people spend too much money on these vehicles and last thing we all need is to fork out more money on a vehicle that is more less in a nut shell a lemon. Everytime I turn around it's something wrong with this type of vehicle. Thanks for your time and look forward to hearing about this problem.
