problem #1

Tundra Limited 3.2L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 183,500 miles

This is the second time I have replaced the valve. When it occurs there are several lights on the dash that report an issue. It will not accelerate and acts like it is not getting gas. Maximum speed is 35 mph. and will not shift into second gear. First time was just after the dealership replaced a air filter and one week later it happened. The second time was one week after another dealership replaced the air filter. Seems to be a pattern here.

This will cost me another 600 dollars to repair and due to the issues with Toyota parts the part will not be here until next week. One part is in Puerto Rico and two are in Boston.
