Tundra Limited V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 82,000 miles

I WAS DRIVING TO THE STORE AND ALL OF A SUDDEN THIS NOISE STARTED COMING FROM UNDER THE HOOD AND MY STEERING BECAME A LITTLE SLUGGISH. I LOOKED AT MY GAUGES AND SAW THAT MY BATT WINDOW THAT THE NEEDLE WAS CLOSER TO THE NINE THAN NORMAL.

THE WINING SOUND GOT LOUDER AND PULLED OVER. A QUICK VISUAL SHOWED THAT THERE WAS NO LEAKS AND MY BELT WAS TURNING, ALL FLUIDS WERE AT THE NORMAL LEVEL OR SAFE LEVEL.

I CALLED TOYOTA SERVICE DEPT AND TOLD THEM THE ABOVE MENTIONED AND I ASKED THEM IF THEY THOUGHT MY ALTERNATOR WAS OUT AND I WAS TOLD THEY DONT GO OUT SO THEN I WAS TOLD OKAY BRING IN IN THE MORN ING AT 7:30. I ALSO MENTIONED THAT I HAD APROX 82,000 MILES. NOT EVEN PAID FOR, NOR 100000 MILES, I CAN NOT BELIEVE IT.

SO ON WED I WILL TAKE MY TRUCK THERE. I HAVE REPLACED THE BATTERY ONCE. MAJORITY OF SERVICE HAS BEEN WITH TOYOTA.
