Tundra SR5 5.7L

so i bought a brand new 2010 tundra trd 5.7 in october of 09 from a dealer in phoenix az. the truck ran fine untill i drove it home to PA then back to CA in may of 2010. i started noticing a knocking/clicking noise when i started the engine but it seemed to die down slightly after warming up but now it has gotten to the point where i dread every time i have to push on the accelorator and hear that dreadful engine knocking. it may have started earlier in AZ i could have just missed it over the ac being onn every time i drove, anyway toyota customer service said to take it to the dealer, the dealer told me nothing was wrong before i even had a chance to explain anything(the valve tapping noise is supposed to be normal i guess) i didnt hear any valve tapping or piston slapping noises when i bought the truck so why should i have expected that to be normal. that was never disclosed to me as a possibility and why if it is so normal deosnt every other 5.7 have the same issue
