First the break keeps broken. I was told the master cylinder for the break needs to be replaced. This is after I spend thousands to work on breaks at dealer. Second, the window does not close. I thought it might be caused by a broken breaker BUT, none of the breaker is bad. Thirdly, the most frustrated thing is the transmission fails to work. The truck is dead on the street. I sent the truck to dealer to replace the transmission to a new one. After it is done. I drove it on the street and just a few days later, the transmission is failed again and Gear shifting stick failed to work as soon as it is out of dealer parking lot. Dealer repair department told me I need to put money out to buy another transmission. They said transmission oil line is broken, and it caused transmission not to be covered by any wanrrenty..

2014 Toyota Tundra with 180,000 miles. The gear shifter will not come out of park at times when brake is pressed. I have gotten in the truck many times to leave my house and when I press the brake to take it out of park it will not unlock the shifter. I have to press and release the brake a few times before the shifter is unlocked.

The contact owns a 2014 Toyota Tundra. When the key was removed from the ignition switch, the gear shifter moved out of gear and caused the vehicle to roll away. In addition, when depressing the brake pedal, the gear shifter failed. The failure recurred numerous times. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that there was liquid on the gear shifter, which caused the failure. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 35,000.

When you first start the vehicle and put it in drive, within 20 seconds at any speed, a loud ping/metal hitting metal sound comes from the rear gear differential box. It happens everytime at any takeoff speed. Toyota and my dealer do not believe there is a problem.

Tundra 8-cyl

The above vehicle was purchased on 07/06/2014 at about 2100 hours. The vehicle was driven home, which was approximately five miles away. The vehicle was parked in a residential driveway and on 07/07/2014 returned to the vehicle and saw that there was a pool of fluid under the parked vehicle. Upon examination I found that the vehicle had leaked a large amount of transmission fluid. The dealer was contacted and the vehicle was towed to the dealership (frontier Toyota valencia ca.) I was contacted later that same day and advised that the vehicle had a faulty transmission seal which allowed the transmission fluid to leak from the vehicle. They also advised that the transmission had lost ten ounces of transmission fluid. My concern is that if the vehicle had been driven any distance with the above described leak the transmission would have leaked out all of the transmission fluid causing the potential for transmission failure, loss of control from leaking fluids on tires or possible fire from overheated fluids on hot exhaust and or engine parts/.
