4cyl AWD Toyota driven approx 3,000 per month in my sales job. Oil is changed every 5k miles. Recently started hearing a knock while idling. I just learned that it is a rod knock and the only fix is a new or rebuilt engine. $3-$5k fix. I am sick over this. I did not expect Toyota to let me down at 107k miles.
