A/C caught fire, flames shot out of the vents A/C caught fire, flames shot out of the vents

The VW Beetle was old but it only had 60,000 miles on it. I had gotten a ton of work on it. The A/C suddenly became uncontrollable. Smoke began to come out of the vents. We got out of the car and noticed that there was something red/burning behind the vent. We knew it was going to blow up. Fire shot out at us.
