The contact owns a 2000 Volkswagen Beetle. The contact stated that when the vehicle was purchased the passenger side door hinges were coming loose. The door hinges are not connected to the frame; however, the passenger side door opened while driving. The door was not repaired when the complaint was filed. The failure mileage was 60,000.
