Had dealer to look at it, they asked if any thing was on the roof. At first that it was paint removed around, then the dealer said that the top need attention with no answer to the problem. If anyone could give me a word up to this less than I Would appreciate any help with this matter. And guess what I bought two convertibles a 2013 and a 2018. Thank you for any advice.
Update from Dec 6, 2019 I see that I'm not the only one with this roof issue. Sunroof's plastic framing cover developed cracks causing
water leaks on driver side seat as well as floor, problem started out with clear coat all around the roof sheading.
Had service done asked the service manager about this problem. He asked if anything was hauled on the top, the answer was no. We then went to the body shop and had a look, they could not figure it out either. So now I'm at square one again. Who do I get in touch with for this problem ??? I also have two more vehicles 2013 and 2018 convertible.
Update from Apr 22, 2020 Received e-mail from VW and it stated that we will not repair or fix because of the year of this vehicle even thou
the car is very low mileage and not driven a lot also have a 2013 convertible and a 2018 convertible. I'm hoping this problem does not affect them.
