Eos 2.0L

I had the top down on my car today and when I put the top up, everything was fine. A minute later I put the passenger side window down to talk to someone. When I tried to put it back up, it would not work.

My son and his father ended up taking the trim off the passenger door and 'pulled and tugged' on the window so they could get the window up until I could get this problem fixed. The motor works. When they took the door trim off, they tried the motor and it is working. I read some things online that state that it may be the regulator. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, what did you do to fix it?

Eos Sport 2.0L TDI

Passenger side front failed (regulator and motor) 2 months after window regulator failed on drivers side front window.

This was brought from new in UK and one of first delivered. Left hand drive models were launched 2005?

This car is a convertible so clearly highly reliant on operable electric windows which should have reliance built in as standard. 2 failures in 2 months after less than 4 years of ownership.
