On the 3rd of Sept in the morning when it tried to start the engine, the engine didn’t start, however the car electricity seemed OK. After several attempts I succeeded to start the engine but when I tried to drive the car it was not OK untill the engine temp reached 90, the car became OK. But at night, sometime, when I tried to start the engine again after the engine got cold, the same issue appeared again.

The next day I took the car to the licensed maintenance shop located in Cairo – Al Obour. Work shop engineer told me that they have to check the car while it’s cold to identify the issue so the car has to stay overnight at their end and they told me that they will call me and inform me with their diagnoses and the cost of repairing the car. After two days they called me that the car needs some parts to be fixed with cost of 2450 EGP. I said OK, please go ahead. ON 12th of Sept 2014 they called me and told me that your car has been fixed and ready for collection. I went and paid the invoice and unfortunately they brought me the car when the engine was already warmed up.

The next day when I tried to start the engine again, I found the issue still exist but with minor improvement. Again on 15th of Sept I took the car again to the same work, shop whereby they asked me to leave the car again to have it checked. On 16th of Sept I have received a call from the same engineer (Named Fady) and he told me that he has changed a part in the exhaust system with additional cost of 1850 EGP. Today is 17th, I have sent my driver to collect the car but when he tried to start the engine with the presence of the engineer the same issue has appeared again, and again the engineer asked me to leave the car for the third time.

I appreciate your intervention on this as it seems that they make me pay for spare parts which were not the cause of the issue. I need to drag your intention that in 14th of Sept, after finding the issue unsolved for the first time, I have submitted a complaint to the Egypt Automotive call center with reference # 179821 and I was told that they will contact me within 24 H from the complaint date, but this didn’t happen till moment when I inquired about the complaint status, they told me that they are still waiting for the workshop response and the only action taken. I creating another complaint with # 181001

Clearly the Egyptian dealer will damage your esteemed reputation as I will try to save my sight with all the possible means even I will publish my experience in the Facebook and all the media which I can reach. Please help me on this.
