The contact owns a 2014 Volkswagen Jetta. The contact stated while driving 50 MPH the vehicle started jerking and lost motive power followed by the check engine was blanking. The vehicle was taken dealer and the spark plugs were replaced, but the failure reoccurred. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic and stated that the vehicle was experiencing similar failure as NHTSA Campaign Number: 15V028000 (Fuel System, Gasoline) and advised to contact the dealer. The dealer was contact, but no assistance was not provided. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and stated that the VIN was not under NHTSA Campaign Number: 15V028000 (Fuel System, Gasoline). The failure mileage was 30,000.
