Jetta ES Diesel

  • Automatic transmission
  • 2,100 miles

I am an older gent that is not computer savvy. I upgraded to the top diesel Jetta and from the beginning - the iPhone 6 did not automatically connect to the Bluetooth. I brought the car to the dealer for the same problem 4 times. Was told by Will the service manager that it is a problem with the Iphone.

Contacted Apple and they tried all different things with my Iphone. Nothing worked. They gave me $200.00 for all the time and problems I was having, and replaced my Iphone 6 with another Iphone 6!! While checking out the problem with apple on the line - we noticed that the screen was not working with the navigation. I pushed harder on the screen and it cracked. After contacting the dealer - they told me it was not a defect and I would have to pay for the NEW RADIO WITH NAVIGATION !! The Bluetooth still was not working - after Will the service manager lied saying he never saw the problem - I let him try it one more time and poof - the Bluetooth did not connect. The service manager then said - Oh I know what's wrong - you have to have the app open. I said to him " this is the first time you are telling this to me, why didn't you tell me that one of the other four times I brought it to you. With a dumb look on his face - he said "Sorry" I told him words mean nothing - replace the radio that now has a broken screen from all the abuse trying to get the Bluetooth to work - he said that's up to Volkswagen. After contacting Dolores Wilder, the district manager - She told me "the radio works fine and the screen is my problem, it is not defective" All this from a picture - She has never personally seen the car. Just to let you know - the crack is in the lower left - not the center. In other words - the screen was not punched. It is defective - and when I pushed in the defective area - the crack fully appeared.

I am a 3X repeat customer - and will go out of my way to let people know that Volkswagen does not back the products they sell. I will also let everyone know what incompetent employees they have. They lost a customer that has retired and was going to purchase a new car every other year - Time to go all AMERICAN !!!!!!

PS Thats not a BUICK !!!!!
