problem #2

Nov 012020

Passat 2.5L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 125,000 miles

Upon switching on the car, after the engine gains idling speed, right side of the engine jerks periodically - maybe in one or two seconds timing. Same is continued while waiting at signals. Replaced all belts, and bearings. Replaced engine mounting. Problem still on.

problem #1

Feb 122013

Passat Comfottline 1.8L Tsi

  • Automatic transmission
  • 21,748 miles

This problem has been going on for a while. It does not affect the car's performance but it is a annoyance, especially when there are passengers and they ask what that is. The vehicle cost more than R300 000 and it idles worse than most cheap vehicles.
