Had the oil change done at Jiffy Lube. Several months later, the oil pressure low warning light and chime go off every time my wife drives the car. I took the car to the VW dealer expecting major issues but they had an inkling while discussing the issue on the phone as they asked about last oil change etc.
Turns out, some after market oil filters will collapse internally with the 2.5L VW engine especially. Something to do with the engine pressure. Anyhow, changed the oil and filter at the dealer and all is great.
