Rabbit 2.5L

This is my 2nd VW. The first was a 1999 Jetta. That car had a Mass Air Flow Sensor go out (MAF). With my Rabbit, it was an exhaust sensor (part of the emissions system). In both cases, VW stepped up and repaired the issue when the car was out of warranty. This causes me to be a loyal customer. Other than this, I have 60,000+ miles on the car and it has been rock solid!!

I owned a GM vehicle in the past, they would never step up to design issues, rather train their front line staff to convince you they have never seen the problem before. The internet has made that harder and harder to do as chronic problems are easy to spot on carcomplaints.com
