S80 3.2L V6

The S80 with the Adaptive suspension (4C struts) is a bad idea. The 4C struts are super expensive. I replaced mine with the regular struts which cost about $300 for all four plus the cost of labor to install. I still get the "Active Chassis Service Required" message which I believe can be erased with the help of VIDA. This message comes on because the system is expecting the 4C struts. However, there's no difference in performance. The car runs just great with regular struts. I think the mechanic installed some capacitors to fool the system which is why the car runs great. However the message needs to be taken care of.
