Volvo is charging me to have a service tech look at the car when the excessive oil consumption is so significant. There are no oil leaks. There is a service bulletin out on this issue but Volvo did not say anything to me about this when I brought the car in the first time. NOW THEY ARE SAYING IT IS OUT OF WARRANTY AND THAT THEY MIGHT ASSIST IN SOME WAY TO CORRECT THE ISSUE. LIKELY FAULT IS NEW PISTON AND RINGS.
It seems to me that this should be a class action law suit. Any other thoughts?
