2016 Volvo V60 has been burning excess oil since it had 40K+ miles. It was brought into Volvo under warranty to address the problem. They did an oil trace study and said that it was losing oil but it wasn't covered under the warranty. Excessive oil consumption for this year and model vehicle is a known issue to Volvo. They also are aware that there is a defect in the piston rings that causes this excessive oil loss. The negligence and refusal to repair a vehicle under warranty for a manufacturer's defect should fall under the category of a criminal act.

Volvo is supposed to be a reputable brand that stands behind their products. Apparently they're a disreputable car brand that sells defective vehicles and does not care about their reputation. If they are not loyal to their customers, they should be sued and exposed as the charlatans that they are. I know that a class action law suit has been filed regarding this issue and I will be joining ASAP.
