The temp gauge rose to H mark, but the engine to the touch was cool. Mechanic advised Coolant Sensor replacement. Problem did not go away. Replaced the Thermostat. Temperature gauge is steady at normal. However, coolant continued to loose. No visible leaks, Oil is not contaminated, Coolant maintains its colour, No smoke in the exhaust, Car runs well.
