One day I was doing a routine check on my car and noticed there was no coolant. I promptly added coolant while being very cautious as to why this occurred. No problems showed, until two months later when I noticed my heater no longer heating, and my car overheating. Stopped, checked, no coolant again. Apparently it was my head gasket going... which will cost roughly 1000-1500 to have fixed, and even then you cant be certain the cylinders haven't warped. I loved this car and put a ton of money into it but couldn't justify 'not knowing.'
