There is a rumbling noise at about 40-45 miles per hour. Usually I let off of the accelerator and it goes away, but sometimes it takes several times to clear it up. I would like Acura to issue a recall for this problem. Really don't know if the transmission will just go out and cause a wreck.

Had the car truck for 10 years with only 80K miles. Truck started to make noise driving at 35 to 45 mph. Making a grinding noise, took it to the dealer and they could not find the issue. I Google online and found that lots of complaint about the torque converter issue with model 2003-2007 MDX. Don't know why this was not a recall from Honda corp. to fix the problem. Call the the local Acura dealer to have it fixed, they said it might cost me $3k to fix the issue??? What happened to goodwill service from them or help out the loyal Acura customers?

Transmission misses at 20, 40, and 50 mph. This transmission only had about 75,000 miles on it when it started missing.

Transmission makes a grinding sound when driven in D5. Usually occurs around 35-45 but also have had same problem at highway speeds. Sounds like it's grinding a gear. Application of throttle usually quiets the noise temporarily. Have been able to shift into D4 for normal driving and have not had as much of an issue.

I have had the car under a year and heard a rumble strip noise, figured it was a loose shield underneath car. Read online found it's the torque converter which put transmissions out of these, they are not covered by Acura. wtf
