I am not happy to see a good vehicle like MDX have a transmission problem on a Low mileage as 60000 miles. Acura should do something about this problem before it cost people's lives and then cost them a lot in name, credibility, and money.

I have owned my vehicle for only a month when the transmission went out while I was driving down the road. I had to have it towed and that is when I was told my transmission would have to be rebuilt or replaced.

Transmission needed to be totally replaced, I have a friend with the same car and had to replace his transmission as well. He only had 75,000 miles on his MDX at the time.

Used Purchased: On the next day we purchased this vehicle the transmission went out. It wouldn't move at all. I called dealer but it was closed (Sunday), therefore we had to wait until Monday. Without hesitation, dealer towed vehicle to dealership. It took approximately 6 days for vehicle to be fixed (had to wait for transmission to be shipped). The dealer did replace transmission at no charge, and gave a 6 month warranty. I believe the only reason they did this was because we have not yet finalized the paperwork. They wanted to make sure we gave a good review to the financial institute. Saleman did mention the financial institute would be calling. I said I would give a good review if transmission is guaranteed. He did say they were planning on giving a warranty. H'mmmm? We were lucky transmission went out the next day of purchase or we would've been screwed.
