MDX Touring 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 198,000 miles

I have a 2006 MDX that I have replaced the battery now twice and it still is drained within 2 days enough to not start. So if I dont continuoisly start it every 2 days I have to jump it. Its become RIDICULOUS! I see that there are very many people with the same problem with 2007s and many have spent 100s of dollars trying to figure out what is draining the battery when the car isnt on. I do not have the money to pay a mechanic to endlessly search thru my electrical system to find the culprit. I love the car but I live in the mountains and have 2 babies on board and cannot keep getting stranded in snow country. PLEASE if somebody knows a SOLUTION to this obvious defect in MDXs share it with me. Even if I have to just disconnect all the navigation, bluetooth, or even the damn stereo...I just want a car that STARTS!!!

MDX Touring 3.2L V6

Well I am on my third battery and its to the point it wont hold a charge for even 3 days. MY battery jumper wont even start it...I had to call AAA now to jump it so I can take it back to the mechanic again. I see that there are numerous complaints for this exact problem, but only with the 2007 models...well mine is a 2006 so BEWARE!

I will update this complaint when I find the solution. BTW my car is now OVER 200,000. miles. Runs great once you can get it started...
