I owned my 2009 acura mdx base model for 8 months now,for the pass few months now i had being experience some driving issues with it.I noticed when driving between 25 - 45 mph i felt surging, pulsing and the tranny slipping like its searching for gear. The rpm would be between 1100 - 1400 with the needle bouncing up and down in the window.Brought it to dealer last friday with my complained and what i'm experiencing. The tech checked it out and said he didn't find anything wrong but my tranny oil level was low so he added 11/4 bottle of oil and he did a pcm software updated. So he then hook up his labtap and we went for a test drive, he said he didn't hear or see any thing different it just normal shifting from the tranny. The vehicle still doing the same thing and it even got worst. When i left from the dealer i came to a red stop light which is on top of a hill so i stopped, when the light turn green i drove off .the vehicle stayed in 2nd gear for about 1/4 a mile before changing out. This is the 2nd time it happened to me now.
Is anyone out there experience the same problem and how they go about it.I have up to a 100k powertrain warranty.
