The contact owns a 2015 Acura MDX. The contact stated that the vehicle was equipped with a lane assist camera, a feature that alerted the driver with "lane departure and lane assist keeping warnings" whenever the driver veered from the lane. The contact stated that the feature failed while driving 60 mph, with the air conditioning set at 69 degrees. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who stated that there was no remedy for the failure. The manufacturer was notified. The contact was advised to turn the air conditioner on while driving. The failure recurred several times. The vehicle was left at the dealer's and had not been repaired. The manufacturer was notified again, but had not returned the call. The failure mileage was 1,400.
