When on vacation in another state, I was driving the car and suddenly all warning lights began flashing on dash including transmission warning. D blinking. There were no rpms and car would not go over a few miles per hour.
I had the car towed to closest Acura dealer. Diagnosed as needing a solenoid valve B. After installing this part the dealer informed me that it did not fix the problem and the transmission needs replacement.
I call corporate and informed them that I had a perfect service history with Acura and was one month and a week or 10,000 miles out of my warranty. Corporate agreed to pay 90% of cost to replace transmission.
I specifically purchased a certified 2015 MDX to avoid the notorious transmission issues.
