The electronic components in the vehicle do not always function as expected. There are numerous times when my steering wheel does not come back down into the prior position so I can drive. It requires me putting the vehicle back in park and pressing the button again to make it move. There are times when the navigation will display the name of the road, and then the next time you drive on the same road it will tell you it’s un-named. The radio presets will randomly preset to something else not what was saved with the key fob.

The key itself will just stop working all of a sudden without warning. This was the final straw with this vehicle, so I called Acura corporate and their solution was for me to call roadside assistance. Be warned - there’s no way to start your vehicle if your key fob just suddenly stops working. To me this is a huge safety feature but they don’t see it that way. Luckily, when it happened to me I was able to grab a second key fob because I was at home. What would you do if you were not at home and you couldn’t start your car? I told them I travel for business and get back late at night at the airport. What happens when I walk to my car and it won’t start?

Also, I was able to start it one time by holding the fob next to the start button but when I got to work I couldn’t lock my vehicle! When I took it in for repair they told me they saw that there was a “no start” but they couldn’t duplicate the problem - WTH???

Once it stopped working completely I had to take it to a different dealership for them to fix the key fob - crazy! I had to take it in twice to get this one problem handled!
