I WAS DRIVING MY CAR AND WAS SLOWING DOWN FOR ANOTHER CAR IN FRONT OF ME MAKING A RIGHT TURN OFF THE ROAD I WAS ON. I HAD PLENTY OF DISTANCE APPROX 100FT BETWEEN THE CAR TURNING AND FOR NO REASON MY CARS BRAKING LIGHT AND CRASH AVOIDANCE SYSTEM INITIATED A SERIOUS BRAKING/SKIDDING/ALMOST COMPLETE STOP AGAIN FOR NO REASON. LUCKILY, THE CAR BEHIND ME WAS ABLE TO STOP.

Worst experience with a car ever. This was my 5th MDX and the problems were never addressed. We stopped letting my new driver son use this car. My husband nearly had an accident when the auto brake went off randomly. I had an accident in Feb 2017. This week we turned in the lease 3 mos early, feeling like we were just waiting for something terrible to happen in this car.

Driving on Highway 4 in Antioch CA, came to lane expansion, moved to carpool lane and camera picked up the lane strips and braked the car. Would not accelerate and almost stopped! Got off the lane markings and car eventually accelerated! Have also found that going up a winding hill in my neighborhood the front camera detects oncoming cars and also tries to brake, jacking up the car and several times almost causing a rear-end collision. VERY BAD engineering!
