So the car has been in several times for the sensor false triggering. On Saturday I was driving to Orange County and using the vehicles Active Cruise Control. On a few occasions, cars came into my lane from the passenger side and the Active Cruise did not see them and did not slow the vehicle down. Yes, I had the distance set properly. Then I am passed on the drivers side by a car in the car pool lane and the active cruise applied the brakes HARD. Snapping me back into my seat. This was unexpected as the car was NOT in my lane.
A short time later it did it again. This was on Saturday and my body is still sore from the two throw backs. This is a 2019 MDX. I have taken in to the dealer three times complaining of this sensor issue. Works as designed, unable to duplicate. Yes, its going back again.

I am driving about 45MPH on northbound number 1 when a vehicle approaches from southbound number 1 and my BRAKE warning light on the dash flashes. False signal has done this 3 or 4 times. Dealer says keep sensor clean. This does not work as designed.
