At 30 mph the transmission gringa and it sounds like a whistling sound. Let the gas off and it stops. Press the gas and it returns. Still audible at 50/60 mph. Acura representatives claim that the transmission gear whining is normal and provided no solution. The service advisor said all 22 and 23 has this noise except the turbos. Called corporate several times and got a run around. For 55k this is not representative of a luxury vehicle. Poor design and the whistling or grinding was not disclosed since Acura knew the issue. It is annoying and the manufacturer needs to make corrective actions for owners with this problem. Very disappointed and will certainly be my last Acura unless it is repaired somehow. I even offered to pay for the repair and no response.
