I live in southern Ontario in Canada and we have fairly cold winters here. In winter the car's stereo/speakers make soft poping noise sort of like fire crackers (burning sound) or like you have tuned into a bad radio station. I guess you could call it static, but its not. No matter what i play, CD/MP3/Radio the noise persists for about 5-10 minutes in which time i have to keep my stereo off. I took it to an Acura dealership and the first time they claimed they couldn't here anything!! I was extremely pissed and decided to video tape this event as proof. When i showed Acura the tape, they decided to keep the car and have a look at it for 3 days. At the end they couldn't figure out why this happens and told me not to worry about. Now every winter i get this dumb static like noise from my stereo which disables me from using my stereo for 5-10min.
