This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Acura dealer.
Bad grinding brakes after 2,000 miles. Dealer says factory does not have a fix for this issue. Very poor build by Acura.

Gripe. New expensive Acura with a brake problem that Acura can not seem to fix. Took a long time to get Acura to fix with SARB 19-053but it reappeared a short time later now Acura is trying to fix it again after a very long battle. Dealership has it right now with no results. Saw they can't repeat with road test. Bad technician or they just don't want Acura low paying warranty work.

My wife has brought the car back to the dealer twice in the last 60 days. The dealership replaced front and rear brakes under warranty. Still have squeaky brakes. I'm calling today to schedule for inspection and repair today.

I had this issue since I purchased this vehicle inclusive of other issues like the infotainment system. The Brakes started making noise somewhat like grinding noises when applied even at low speeds. I reported this to the dealer service and they mentioned its a issue with the brake pads and suggested that the corporate mentioned them to use brake grease as an solution.
Later on when I showed them severe scratches on the brake rotor drum they said will replace the rotors and brake pads as its under warranty. The front brakes were replaced. Just about driving for another 1000 miles I started facing severe grinding noises and this time the dealer mentioned there is a recall on the brakes and will replace the brake pads and use grease. This time it was for the rear brakes.
I just have around 4500 miles completing the first service and even now I have issues with brakes making slight grinding noises when applied. I think there is a serious design fault apart from the infotainment issues and sometimes I have issues with accelaration too. I am too pissed off with this vehicle as since the purchase I am having lot of issues. I still paying my monthly on this vehicle just for nothing and also scared to take my family with kids in the vehicle. I think the dealer service departments sometimes deny anything wrong but when shown with proof accept it. This is highly unethical by the car manufacturer to even sell an faulty design vehicle.

Brakes have squealed since the day I drove the car off the lot.

The brake has been making this squealing noise and it's getting bad everyday. It's so awful that I have to listen to it every time I drive my vehicle. This is a brand new SUV. We got this last end of March. They should have given us another vehicle that does have any problem. I am paying too much for this vehicle and this is what I get a junk brand new SUV.

Brand new car and the brakes squeak every time you start out for the first ride of the day. So embarrassing stopping at a red light squeaking all the way and you pull up next to a beat up car and they look at you.

The brakes are loud and make a horrible noise. Took to dealership twice and they said that there isn't anything that they can do. That the RDX comes that way. The back window won't roll up, the electronics in the screen don't work went completely black. For $45K I would expect the vehicle to work well not start falling apart before six months.

For a brand new $60,000 RDX Elite of the year …brakes squeaking is not acceptable!!!
I am ashamed of being seen in a car of that price that makes noise when I stop and people are looking at me. The other day I did a 2-hour drive and they squeaked all 2 hours. If they don't do anything to fix the problem, you can be sure that it's our last ACURA and I will make sure to discourage anyone that wants to by that Brand!

My brakes squeak all the time... it's loud, awful and annoying!! This has been happening since I got the car! The service department tells me it is a problem that "Acura hasn't figured out yet". Well thanks Acura, I hope to get this s**y leased car back to you before you figure it out.
