Popping and cracking sounds coming from speakers. Dealership changed out the defective FARKA connector, but the problem continued. Returned it to the dealership to check the connection, and was told it was fine, but the problem not only continued but got worse. Returned it a 3rd time to the dealership, only to have the problem now 10 times worse than it was on the 2nd return! I was then told it isn't the FARKA connector causing the issue, but a loose pin connection in the coax on the floor harness and it would be $12K to replace it. I believe there is a huge possibility that the dealership technician that first replaced the FARCA connector, damaged the pin in the coax and therefore caused what is now a VERY costly repair and it has depreciated my vehicle's value. The dealership offered me no recourse. Acura offered me zero assistance. The FARKA connectors were defective in the 3rd gen RDX's. Acura never recalled them but extended the warranty and replaced all defective connectors, but now I'm stuck with a damaged vehicle, without a solution. Sinking $12K into a now 6 year old vehicle is not an option. Replacing the FARKA connector was supposed to fix the issue, yet my issue continued and got worse after their fix. I loved my car, but I am beyond pissed at the brand and the dealership.
